Livecoding Performance in SuperCollider.

4bid Gallery, Amsterdam

Nov ’24

On November 8th in Amsterdam, at 4bid Gallery, I performed a Livecoding set using SuperCollider, blending technology and sound in real time. The performance was the result of a continuous and dynamic dialogue between myself and the machine, where algorithms were not only executed but also rewritten live as part of the creative process.

At the core of the performance was real-time coding — a direct interaction with algorithmic structures that I modified and adapted on the fly. This immediate manipulation of sound logic created an auditory experience that was both unpredictable and immersive, constantly evolving with every decision I made.

As the code changed, so did the sonic landscape, turning the space into a living field of sound exploration and experimentation. Each moment was unique and unrepeatable, shaped by spontaneity and the ever-changing relationship between human and machine.
