Sparklab: Science, Art & Technology for Kids
Sparklab is an independent, mobile project that I have been nurturing and developing for over ten years. It began as a personal initiative to bring science, art, and technology closer to children and teenagers through creative experimentation. My work is rooted in the belief that learning should be joyful, exploratory, and meaningful—especially during childhood and adolescence, when curiosity is at its peak. Sparklab is my way of offering a different kind of educational experience: one that is playful, hands-on, and deeply human.
Each workshop is designed and led by me, with great attention to detail and care for the unique energy of each group. I create open-ended learning spaces where participants can build, play, test, discover, and express themselves freely. Activities range from making homemade circuits and simple robotic inventions, to working with light, sound, recycled materials, or colorful chemistry. The content is always interdisciplinary, blending scientific thinking with artistic expression, and adapted to different age groups and contexts. No two sessions are the same, and that's part of the magic.
Sparklab is not a traditional classroom. It’s a space for exploration and imagination—where making mistakes is welcome, and experimentation is key. Children are encouraged to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and collaborate with others. The goal is not only to learn concepts, but to develop confidence, creativity, and a sense of wonder. I believe in creating environments where each child feels safe, seen, and empowered to try something new.
Over the years, Sparklab has grown beyond my personal studio to reach a wide variety of communities. I have facilitated workshops in public schools, cultural centers, libraries, festivals, community projects, and also in private homes and creative spaces. I work both with public institutions and independent initiatives, always tailoring the experience to the space and the people involved. My mobile lab allows me to adapt easily, bringing tools and materials wherever the spark is needed.
If you are an educator, a parent, or an organization looking to bring something truly creative and meaningful to your community, I would love to connect. Whether you're planning a one-time event, a collaborative residency, or a series of workshops, Sparklab is ready to travel and grow with you. Let’s co-create spaces where children can explore freely, think differently, and spark new ideas.
